I have used this product for literally 19 years – it is hands down the best soap ever
I started using this when I was 14 during a very painful bout of eczema, and I have now been using it for almost 20 years. It’s really friggin great.I have extremely sensitive skin; I can’t use things like softsoap or palmolive, or even dr bronners, because my hands will break out in a rash, and if I use them for an extended period of time, I’ll get cracking and bleeding. With this product, my hands are completely normal, year round. No dryness.I use this as a hand soap and to wash my body, and as a gentle cleanser for delicate laundry, as well as several other applications. The scent for the original formula is very mild, just a very light whiff of mint. It’s gentle and doesn’t leave a feeling of soap residue on hands or fabric, which is super nice.I’ve seen this product used in some medical offices, which I think is a great choice – it would be *great* for people that need to wash their hands frequently. I am a frequent hand washer (I have OCD), and I’ve never had a problem with dry skin using this product.The company also seems great. I sometimes buy from them directly if Amazon doesn’t have a sale. On just one occasion, I got a gallon of a different formula (the non-scented) that seemed off – it was oddly thick and viscous, but it was otherwise perfectly functional. I emailed the company about it and they immediately got back to me same or next day with personalized customer service and immediately offered to mail me a replacement, no hassle. My roommate ended up using the “bad” bottle – it still worked just fine. The experience honestly cemented my love for this product even further. Besides one weird bottle in 19 years of buying this stuff, the quality has been very consistent, and I plan to use it forever. Please don’t ever go out of business, my hands will thank you.

Best liquid skin cleanser ever
I’ve been buying this Nutribiotic “Original” formulation by the gallon for years. It is the best liquid skin soap (or non-soap) ever. I try other liquid soaps from time to time. None of them are as good. Nutribiotic is totally non-iritating and non-drying. It has a very nice smell, even though it is “unscented”. I never get tired of the smell or the way it feels on my skin. I keep this in all my hand pumps by the sinks in bathrooms and the kitchen. It is actually my favorite shower gel too but for variety I sometimes use Shikai Yuzu Shower Gel in the shower. I used to make my own soap and I found out why actual soap is bad for your skin. In the shower it is fine to wash first with regular bar soap, but you should follow up immediately by washing with a good liquid non-soap like Nutribiotic or Shikai. Even if you are a “man from earth” like me this 2-step wash will get all the yucky smelly uncomfortable stuff off you and make your skin feel great for hours – until you get all yucky again. For me, 2 showers a day and countless hand washings, no problem when you use these high quality liquid cleaners. I have found I can foam Nutribiotic with a Metrex foam type dispenser by diluting it half and half with water and only filling the dispenser up about 1.5 inches from the bottom (so it’s mostly empty).

A great product
I have been using this formula since last century. It is a very mild soap-free detergent skin cleaner. It has the faintest of scents from rosemary and peppermint so it is not truly fragrance-free but it is so slight as to be an insignificant masking scent. This original version is cleaner rinsing than its “sensitive skin” sulfate-free sibling. The other version replaces the sodium laureth sulfate (SLES) surfactant with C14-16 olefin sulfonate which turns out to be even more irritating than the SLES so is a dubious improvement. Unless you have some unlikely allergic reaction to the SLES, this is a better formulation. Note that this product does not contain the much harsher and similar sounding sodium laurel sulfate (SLS) as one uninformed reviewer claims. I refill the standard sized bottles until their pumps give out (after several years). It does take some time for the product to pass through a funnel, though, so get a tall one. You can also get a gallon sized pump from Nutribiotic or other sources. That might make the transfer easier. Since Amazon does not sell this directly and it is relatively heavy to ship, it is best to get from a vendor that offers free shipping when combined with other health care products for a minimum purchase amount.2017 Edit: It looks like Amazon has Prime Shipping on this now even when purchased from a third-party vendor.

I cannot use any other body wash after this one
This product has been a game changer for me. After trying different brands of body washes, I found my skin to be dry and itchy. But after switching back to this product, all of that went away. This is great for face and body. Natural scent, non-irritating, refreshing, and maintains the body’s natural hydration.

Great for dry sensitive skin
I wanted something that was fragrance free and great for sensitive skin. If you wash your hands a lot, have any sort of hand dryness this is a great product. I have been purchasing this regularly since the first time and i highly recommend it for those individuals who have sensitive skin and worried about it. This at least does the trick for me and now i don’t have to think twice about it when I buy. The size it comes in is more than sufficient. Only downside is when I ordered 2 of them the packaging couldn’t handle it and one was damaged due to the weight i presume. Give this a try.

He always comments, “this smells good.” But it’s not heavily scented at all, because I am sensitive to strong smells and I wouldn’t be able to take it. For those of you who think this is expensive, figure your cost per oz and compare it to lesser quality, mass-produced over the counter products. It may be pretty close in price, so go for this good stuff instead.And now… as to shipping. Congratulations on getting this to me in a timely way.The rest of this post is not directed to this product or this seller, but to Amazon and UPS. WHEN WILL YOU GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER??? I currently have FOUR packages delayed being shipped by UPS. Amazingly, some other packages being shipped by UPS have been delivered, most of them on time. I’m a member of Amazon Prime and am supposed to get free delivery within 2 days. Hey, if it’s 3 days instead of 2, I never say a word. But 6, 8 or by the time things finally arrive, 10 days?UPS says it is due to ‘inclement weather’ as to the reason for the delays. REALLY? Here’s a news flash, UPS: It is winter. It gets cold. It often snows. It does this each year. It is called a season. So tell your drivers to put on hats and gloves and put chains on your tires and go do the job you are getting paid to do.Of the 4 packages being delayed, there is no expected delivery date. At the earliest, it will be 5 days LATE. No, not a total of 5 days, rather 5 days late. Amazon, you really need to consider another source besides UPS. Your drone idea made for a nice media splash, but with your money, why not start a competitor to UPS and FedEx?

This IS the only non soap facial cleanser I can use and will only use! . It is not fancy or expensive. It doesn’t have any strange aroma. I gets sudsy! It works perfectly for my combination skin leaving it feeling ‘ just right ‘. I have been using it for at least 10 years and I hope they never stop making it. Excellent value and the company has a lot of other skin care products

Perfect for people with sensitive skin
This “soap” is amazing for people with sensitive skin. If you find that some soaps can make your skin burn and you hurry to wash it off, this is the solution for you. It makes the perfect shower gel. It is unscented and has a very mild non offensive smell.

I love this non-soap skin cleanser. I’ve been using it as a face and body wash for over 20 years! It is non-drying but cleans well. If my sons have diaper rash, washing them with this will clear it up FAST. It is a fabulous all-over cleanser.The best part – Amazon’s price is better than getting it from the manufacturer! At the time of my purchase, it was $32.95 on Amazon and $40.40 from the Nutribiotic website.

Great product – with some flaws
I bought it some months back, use it always.Good: It is great for my skin. I compare it to SebaMed.Not so good: leaves skin less of natural body-oil, dry.My skin type is sensitive, medium oily. i dislike soaps for reasons of irritation and a layer of soapy-chemicals, which cause allergic reactions, illness.I am still searching for something ‘natural’ that cleans, won’t give dryness, won’t leave its residue (layer of chemicals) on skin.

The best soap to buy
My wife and I both love this soap. We’ve bought it for years in the 10 or 16 oz size bottle, then when we saw the chance to save money, got the gallon bottle size, and are now re-filling the smaller squirt top bottles. The soap is non-irritating even to me (a doctor who washes his hand a lot esp. at work – where I take my own bottle of soap). It also does not seem to have ANY irritating scents or aromatic chemicals in it that would set off someone’s allergies nor chemical sensitivities. And it is NOT anti-biotic soap. This is a good thing, as soap removes nearly 100% of all bacteria from the skin of the hands, when used properly, and anti-biotic soap only adds to the burden of dangerous chemicals we pour into the environment daily, and strengthens bacteria, by giving them a chance to become immune to another chemical which we may need to use in hospitals or other specialized places someday to combat some super-bug which doesn’t get washed away by normal soap.

Good non-soap. Used for many years!
I started using this “NON-soap” many, many years ago, when a health food store I visited frequently had a promo on it. Have used it ever since. It was great on my young adult acne and as I neared 50, I’d have people ask me what I used on my face to make it look younger. I would recommend trying it if looking for something gentle on your face/skin.

It is exactly what the product claims to be – a greater cleanser and fragrance free
I recommend this product for a couple of good reasons – it is fragrance free and it is a cleanser that doesn’t dry your skin out. I have been using this product for years. I use it for everything: in my hand soap dispensers and I bathe with it. A few years ago I know they stopped production for a while, because they removed the parabens that are generally used as a preservative in products. I use so much of it that it is definitely better to buy it in bulk and refill the smaller dispensers. I have also used the cleansers that have fragrances and they are very subtle in fragrance, but I prefer the fragrance free cleanser and I got tired of the fragrance cleansers. A great cleanser and I hope I never have to change or they stop production.

Best soap for my little family.
This is my goto soap and has been for a number of years. It has a very clean not overwhelming scent which I love. It leaves no residue on the body which I find most soaps do.I use it as hand and body soap, and a gallon lasts my little family of 3 almost a year.I love that you can buy it in a gallon size!It’s the best stuff ever!

We love it! We use this cleanser for several years …
We love it! We use this cleanser for several years now and I recommend to everybody. It does help skins with keratoses making it smooth. It is not a moisturizing but a cleanser that do not dry or remove our natural oils which protect our skin. I recommend it to everybody that suffers from sun damaged skin. With this product the skin gets so much better and soft that we o not need to use any type of body lotion. Believe me, it is fantastic!

Best Skin Cleanser for hands and face!!!!
I have been using this skin cleanser for 20 years and just love it. I had always bought it at Whole Foods and when I found out that my Whole Foods is not carrying it any more I was not a happy camper. But I found it on good ol’ Amazon. And what is even better: it comes in a 1 gallon container which is so much better for the environment. So I just fill it into the original pump bottles my former Nutribiotic skin cleanser came in and – voila! If you don’t have former bottles, then you can buy one (at Amazon?) and that would look even prettier.

If, like me, you bought this because your skin is allergic to soaps & detergents — mostly because of SODIUM LAURYL SULFATE content, this is NOT the product for you. My usual product by Neutrogena is being discontinued. ThIS PRODUCT DESCRIPTION CONTAINS A LIE! A LIE when it SAYS ITS FREE OF SLS — it’s NOT! YOU CAN’T EVEN READ THE LABEL TO CHECK THE INGREDIENTS. THAT’S WRONG. And thinking that NON-SOAP would be what I was looking for. Disappointed in myself, but I wrote this to keep other people with sensitive skin from making the same mistake. It might be a good product, but I’ll never know.

Been using this ph balance liquid soap for years ( just started buying it on Amazon) EXCELLENT for dry skin, leaves skin feeling Smooth and Clean, a plus also for your bath tub or shower stall, always looking shining /clean, no scum or build up at all,(not like other liquid or bar soaps) which leaves build up ” SCUM “. Just Imagine your skin silky clean. I’m 63 years old, I only use hand lotion for everyday living. I definitely recommend this product, try it…, bar soaps will be a thing of the past. One thing…use a exfoliating bath rag / nutribiotic ph balance liquid soap = silky smooth skin.

I have been using this product for years on my sensitive, aging skin. I used to get it at Whole Foods when they had large containers you could refill your smaller container from. They stopped doing that so I found the source and have been buying it in gallons online for years. One gallon lasts me almost a whole year – so it is very affordable!I get the unscented so it does not compete with my perfume!This is one of my all time favorite go to products!

If you have allergies…use this product
If you have allergies, you know how difficult it is to find products that do not make you itch, sneeze, or break out in hives. This is the product for you. I use it all around the house and even take it in a small plastic container to use when I am in public settings. It is a gentle cleanser that is easy on the skin, but effectively cleans.

Better deal than buying the individual $10 dollar + bottles…
I am glad to have found this in a gallon. We use this soap and my partner really likes it, but it is $10 bucks + a bottle at the local healthfood store. This brings it down to around $5 bucks per bottle..It’s always good to find these deals.

Excellent cleanser, especially for extremely sensitive skin. I have been using it for years and have never had a problem with it. When I am out of it my skin suffers. It has a light natural refreshing scent that is almost “not there”. Adding a high quality essential oil to it for shower gel works well too.

Great PH balanced wash. We use this as our only wash now, leaves no soap scum in shower (which tells you it leaves no residue on your BODY either) buying a big jug and refilling the shower pump is the way to go! Way better deal!
